Frequently Asked Questions
What is HyTrack and who is it for?▼
HyTrack is a training tracker built specifically for HYROX hybrid athletes — people who run, do strength work, and compete in HYROX events. It logs GPS runs, all 8 HYROX stations, and strength sessions in a single timeline, with an AI load balancer that prevents the strength drop that hits athletes during race prep blocks.
What is the HYROX AI Load Balancer?▼
The AI Load Balancer analyzes your training history after 5 sessions and flags when your strength-to-run ratio risks the documented 15-20% strength drop that occurs during heavy race prep. It then generates a weekly training plan that balances all three domains — running, stations, and strength — calibrated to your race date.
What HYROX stations can I log?▼
HyTrack supports all 8 official HYROX stations: SkiErg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Rowing, Farmers Carry, Sandbag Lunges, and Wall Balls. Each station tracks your time, distance or reps, and weight where applicable. Station PRs are tracked automatically.
Does HyTrack track GPS runs?▼
Yes. HyTrack uses GPS to track outdoor runs with distance, average pace, per-kilometre splits, and elevation gain. GPS tracking starts automatically when you begin a Run or Hybrid session. Live stats (distance and current pace) are shown during the session.
What is Race Simulation?▼
Race Simulation lets you build a virtual HYROX race with your target splits for all 8 stations and transitions. HyTrack shows you whether your current fitness levels support your race goal based on your logged sessions. This is the feature RoxFit removed in their 2.0 update — we rebuilt it and made it searchable.
Is HyTrack free?▼
Yes, the core app is free. Unlimited session logging, all 8 HYROX stations, basic PR tracking, and the Race Calendar are all free. The Pro tier ($9.99/month or $69.00/year with a 7-day free trial) unlocks the AI Load Balancer, Race Simulation, the HYROX Training Coach, cross-domain analytics, and data export.
How is HyTrack different from RoxFit?▼
RoxFit removed Race Simulation in its 2.0 update and does not have an AI load balancer or GPS run tracking. HyTrack is built around the hybrid athlete workflow — one session that logs a run, strength work, and station conditioning together — rather than treating them as separate workouts.
What is the HYROX Training Coach?▼
The Training Coach is a Pro feature that generates a phase-appropriate weekly training plan based on your race date. It recognises five training phases: off-season, base building, race prep, taper, and recovery — and adapts your plan accordingly each week.
How do I cancel my subscription?▼
Go to Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → HyTrack → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep Pro access until then.
Is my training data safe?▼
Your session data, PRs, and profile are stored securely and never sold to third parties. You can export all your data at any time (Pro feature) or delete your account from within the app. HyTrack follows standard data protection practices published in the Verto Studios privacy policy.
